PREVENTION: We are planning to provide an after school program that will further help those we are serving. This service allows parents to finish their work day and know their children are safe and being well cared for. Parents can attend recovery meetings while we educate their children.
INTERVENTION: There have already been many opportunities for us to seek further help for individuals seeking counseling, fighting addiction by attending recovery facilities, but we also want people in our community to know they can come to us, as the faith based part of the community, and we will help them seek out resources. We also will seek to find a collaboration of churches that will offer Celebrate Recovery meetings at different locations throughout our community on each day of the week.
RESTORATION: The Hope Network will initiate job seeking assistance to individuals who are recovering from substance use disorders or who have been released from jail and are having difficulty finding employment. We will offer this assistance by helping them apply on line, researching and finding suitable employment opportunities, mentoring those applicants in how to complete a resume, how to obtain and keep a job by showing up to work, being on time, how to dress professionally and we will nurture them with one-on-one Christ-centered mentoring of those job skills.
